Exclusive Gold/Silver Viking Weave

The technique I have used for these striking pieces dates back 1300 years to the time of the Vikings, who would use long pieces of silver or gold wire to weave ropes, which were stretched and used to make jewellery for rich and powerful Viking leaders.
Today, I use this ancient technique, called Trichinopoly, in these tactile and ultra-luxurious pieces of jewellery. Made by weaving fine sterling or Argentium silver, 14ct gold filled and 14ct rose gold filled wires into sculptural chains, these designs are versatile and can be made any length. Want something light and lacy for evening wear, small and dainty for a christening or a tighter, more robust piece for a bolder look which suits both men and women? With the Viking Knit technique, any of these requirements can be incorporated into a stunning design which can incorporate gemstones, pearls or a matching pendant and earrings, as desired.
Want head-turning jewellery with a bit of Viking roar? This is the collection for you.

Gold filled wire is an amazing alternative to solid gold, possessing the same strength, durability and beauty. These pieces are made with 14ct gold filled fine wires. 14ct solid gold is pressure bonded onto a core wire, giving it exactly the same appearance as solid gold as well as wearing and lasting the same. These pieces are heirloom quality.

Any of these pieces can be made with solid gold if required, prices will depend on the gold price on the day of ordering.
