Jewellery Care

For all designs. As a general rule, jewellery should always be the last thing you put on. Make-up, lotions, hairspray, perfumes etc can damage or discolour the enamel.

Properly cared for jewellery will last a long time and remain looking great. Please keep items in their own box or pouch away from other jewellery that could scratch or damage them and use a soft cloth occasionally to clean each piece.

Silver-plated or coloured enamel wires are not designed to last forever. While they are structurally sound the silver or coloured plating will ultimately wear or fade at some point, however items made from this wire can last many years if cared for.

Sterling silver and fine silver can dull with exposure to air, a simple wipe with a silver cloth will restore the sparkle.

14ct or 22 ct Gold filled wires have a substantial layer of solid gold elecroplated onto a core of sterling silver. Not to be confused with gold plated these are exceptionally high quality, strong and hard wearing and considered lifetime pieces of jewellery. A simple wipe with a soft cloth will keep them clean and sparkling.

As with any jewellery remove before bathing, showering, swimming or going to the gym, avoid objects that will rub against your jewellery and scratch the finish and be careful around small children or pets that may tug, claw or bite it.
